The reason I might fade them @ Iowa is due to them having two pretty high profile games before hand (@Illinois- rival and vs. Michigan) and Cats also have PSU at home on deck, where I’m sure they want revenge for blowing that lead last year.. Basically, you can only get up for so many emotional games in a row before you have a let-down.. Iowa plays pretty well at home (12-3 L2 years), and even though NU has had recent success, gotta think Iowa wants some revenge on the Cats for beating them last 2 years..

You could be right and Cats could knock off Iowa again, I just think from a situation standpoint, Iowa’s in a position this year to take the Cats out..

They were 2-2 at home the last 3 years in the Big Ten and 2-2 on the road last year in the Big 10 and 3-1 in 2009 and 2008.

Also they have won 3 straight in Kinnick and 5 of the last 6 against Iowa. Fitzgerald hates Iowa and they are not going to overlook that game. I’m not saying they are going to win but I wouldn’t ever bet against them vs Iowa unless they were laying points.

Note: I grabbed that info pretty quickly so it might be off by a game or 2 but I don’t think that those are good reasons to play against NU @ Iowa
